Polar proudly announces its new managerial configuration, effective January 2022.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2022, Polar is one of the main suppliers to the offshore industry in Brazil, soaring higher after its internationalization in 2017. Most recently, acquiring from Eaton all the tooling, machinery, IP and rights to manufacture Blinda equipment, one of the main Brazilian Exd industries over the last 60 years.
In order to assure that each of these business has proper management and focus, it was decided to divide its operations into business units:
- Polar Distribution
- Blinda Industries
- Polar International
Polar Distribution will be managed by Rodrigo Almeida, working at Polar during 23 years. This BU is primarily responsible for all Brazilian branches dedicated to stock and distribute the product lines. This is the most traditional business area, which allowed the Polar Components Group to provide a better service to customers.
Polar International, currently based in London/UK, is the best choice for the customers that prefers to handle the importation process themselves, still counting with Polar local expertise. Evandro Esteves was appointed to manage the International division and to move a step further, increasing the global presence.
Blinda Industries is recognised for its high quality Exd (explosion-proof) equipment offer since 1962.
Emerson Esteves was appointed to manage Blinda, with full commitment to keep deserving customer preference for this outstanding product line. The Crouse Hinds CEAG panels, junction boxes, and “Engineered to Order” (ETO) control units are also under his responsibility as part of the Eaton-CAP (Certified Assembly Partner) technology transfer program.
With the implementation of this new business models, the Polar Components Group should remain or become the first choice for hazardous areas solutions to the valued customers and Ex experts, benefitting from the synergy between its Business Units, as applied by other leading companies.
